Wendy Williams has her #HotTopics which I watch because sometimes she speaks the truth. That occurs about 25% of the time. The other 75% she is spewing her truth and her personal brand of nice nasty vile SHADE. But anyway she started talking about Chris Brown being on the cover of JET magazine and his interview about understanding the tragedy of Trayvon Martin and identifying with his struggle. Well Chris Brown also stated in the interview that racism and the media plays a major part of the hatred toward him.

Here's his quote via NecoleBitchie.com:

"Anybody with a voice – Tupac, Michael Jackson, the Notorious B.I.G. – gets formatted…except maybe for Jay Z, who is accepted by White America because he shakes hands and kisses babies. No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that [Jay Z] stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass."

Well Wendy decided she didn't like the dig and she went in on Chris Brown. Here's what she said:
Chris is blaming his rocky relationship with the media on racism. He says that Jay Z is one of the few black artists who seems to get treated fairly by the media. He also went on to say, “[Jay Z] is accepted by White America because he shakes hands and kisses babies. No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that he stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass.” Okay, I remember when he stabbed Un. He was mildly famous at that particular time. A lot of you all didn't know who he was at that time but he was big here in New York and he stabbed this guy named Un. It did get swept under the rug.
Also the drug dealing and stuff…to my best knowledge that was before we even knew him as a Jay or a Z, Chris. You are less than smart for trying to blame Jay Z. You need to blame yourself young man. You’re a woman beater, you’re disrespectful, you threw a chair out of the window of “Good Morning America”…what ever happened to that cute young man that used to dancefor the Doublemint gum? What ever happened to him? Now I get it, all boys grow up. A boy grows into a man, but you look like a junkie. That’s what I’m gonna say. You’ve got those nasty tattoos, you’re way too skinny. You don’t seem to have respect for much at all. You beat the stew out of Rihanna and you’re with that Koochie Crayon right now. I gotta tell you something,Rihanna is good but the Rihanna she’s become is a little too edgy if you’re looking to change around your image and you want to be treated the way Jay Z [is treated].
Why don’t you go out with a nice girl named Mallory or something? It helps Jay Z’s image that Jay Z is very cognizant of his image, but it also helps a lot that he’s with a nice girl named Sasha Fierce. And please don’t Twitter war me because I don’t bark back. So please save your Twitter war rant, young man.”

YouTube can make a you a star. Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Bo Burnham, Stevie Ryan, Spoken Reasons all these YouTube stars have made their careers off their YouTube channels. But for this guy it made him both famous and infamous. Kain Carter (love your name by the way) aka Hotdamnirock has been on YouTube for 5 years posting videos about relationships, women, men, just anything he felt like talking about. To me and millions of other people they are hilarious and he's built a very strong following. I was first introduced to him through my little brother. He shared a video on his Facebook timeline called Poor Pussy Management and that was the first video I ever watched by Hotdamnirock but definitely not the last.

It was hilarious and some of it was true but never the less I found it funny, uniquely creative, and completely offensive but in a good way, lol. Anyway from then on I was hooked. I looked at all his past videos, subscribed to catch the new vids and told all my friends and family about his channel.

That was about 3 years ago. I've been a faithful fan of his ever since (still a faithful fan). But within the last year or so I stopped following YouTube for awhile (and I kind of lost track of his videos and a few others that I'm subscribed to) but not for any particular reason I just needed to take a break from the net. And then I woke up one morning to a fire storm of hatred and absolute assault on Hotdamirock. I started to see all these hateful messages about Hotdamnirock in my Twitter and Facebook feed. Calling him a loser, a swagger jacker, people saying they lost respect for him, everything under the sun that was disturbing, disrespectful and rude was there. I was shocked at some of the things that were said. Just basically murdering the man's name and brand all over social media. Well I didn't understand the reason why until my husband came home and told me. Apparently the material used in six of his videos was the material of a famous comic, the late Patrice O'Neal. Hotdamnirock used every word from Patrice O'Neal's show The Black Philip Show in the videos. It was wrong because of the way he went about it, but I don't think that Hotdamnirock was trying to bite off the work. If you scroll down and view the video of his response to all the backlash he's received he explains what happened and why he did it.

Now I knew who Patrice O'Neal was, but I never saw or heard this show before. I saw his stand-up on Comedy Central, it wasn't my cup of tea but it was entertaining enough for me to watch it all the way through. I just wasn't major a fan of his. Doesn't mean I don't respect the man or his craft. He was a great comedian he just wasn't one of my favorites.

When he was ousted so to speak by a guy named Dante Nero, who was a good friend of Patrice's here's the backlash he received from some twitter users (If want the harder ones then you need to search for them yourselves.):

In North Carolina, 26 year old Pastor Rodney Willis was about to hit his four year anniversary as the Pastor of Mt. Salem Baptist Church before he was fired from his position without notice.

According to Mt. Salem Baptist Church's deacon board, Pastor Willis was not suited for their church. Their reasoning for firing Pastor Willis was because he attend a Rick Ross concert and was spotted by other church members. The deacons released a statement saying:
“We cannot have our leader supporting people of this world who are tearing down the kingdom of God.” said Deacon Miles Langley.
He attended a Lil Wayne concert earlier this year and was reprimanded for that as well. Once word got back to the deacon board that Pastor Willis attended the Rick Ross concert, an emergency meeting was called and Pastor Willis was voted out 11 to 3 by the deacon board. Unfortunately for Pastor Willis he was exed out without any notice at all. He showed up to preach morning service that Sunday and he realized that his name was removed from his parking spot. They even got a guest preacher to preach all the services for that day.

Deacon Miles Langley also said:
“We know that many saints will have mixed opinions from our actions, but this is not how we do things here at Mt. Salem. We cannot have a pastor praising the world one minute then praising the Lord the next. Period” said Deacon Langley.
What's killing me is Pastor Willis wasn't notified that he was fired. I don't understand what was so hard about having a meeting to let him know that he violated the rules of the church and had to be let go because he didn't live up to their standards. He should've gotten a heads up and not made to look like a fool.

AmericaPastors.com has an open dialogue video with 2 other Pastors on the subject:
