Wendy Williams has her #HotTopics which I watch because sometimes she speaks the truth. That occurs about 25% of the time. The other 75% she is spewing her truth and her personal brand of nice nasty vile SHADE. But anyway she started talking about Chris Brown being on the cover of JET magazine and his interview about understanding the tragedy of Trayvon Martin and identifying with his struggle. Well Chris Brown also stated in the interview that racism and the media plays a major part of the hatred toward him.
Here's his quote via NecoleBitchie.com:
Let's Start with Chris Brown. Chris Brown was a multi-millionaire at the age of 16. The boy was living a life he probably never dreamed of. He made a dumbass mistake at the age of 19 by getting into a physical fight with his then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Unfortunately that mistake has never been forgotten or forgiven by the public.
Chris, you need to stop blaming the media for the mistake YOU made. I understand what you were trying to say about Jay-Z (and I agree with you SOMEWHAT) and other public figures in the interview but you should've know it would have been misinterpreted by the public. Come on man, you hit a woman and in many people's eyes that makes you an abuser and they don't feel like you will ever change from that. They are judging you based on your actions. Not a rumor, not a song, not something that was believed to be true but an action, something you did. Now I do agree that what happened happened and it needs to stop being brought up in the media and blogs. Not just for you, but Rihanna too. People will never be able to heal and move on if they are constantly being pulled back into their dark places. But thats not going to happen any time soon. Understand that when you live your life a certain way there are consequences. Like I have said before in other blogs you need to get off of Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, EVERYTHING! Having these social media accounts gives you direct access to all the disgusting vile things people say about you. Who wants to wake up and go to bed every single day with someone calling you everything from a piece of s*** to a woman beater!? Come on, anyone would feel like the world is against them.
Furthermore, I don't think this is a racial issue. At least not in this instance. Because of what you did people painted a target on your back. The Frank Ocean fight, The so-called Hit and Run incident, The Drake Saga, Tyler the Creator, Miranda Lambert, and of course Wendy Williams. Some look for reasons to garner fame others are just simply voicing their opinion. I think you should brush it off and just let it go. It seems hard and difficult but I think it can be done. Don't worry about what people say about you. You have a strong fan base that supports you and rides for you. And be careful of the things you say. What you say can be twisted and tweaked to suit whatever angle these people have. Sometimes its best to just not say anything at all. You cannot go through life constantly fighting battles that don't even need to be fought. You need to grow up and just live your life as a productive adult. As far as the Jay-Z comment is concerned. I see why you brought it up but here's the thing: Jay-Z may have been a dope dealer and stabbed someone back in the day. But Jay-Z has also turned himself into a productive billionaire. He has not been getting into twitter fights with people or fighting in clubs. He hasn't been talked about in that light because he conducts himself in a respectful manner and commands respect. The media isn't going to bring up what he did in the past simply because he has proven himself to be a changed man. Can you honestly say the same about yourself? I don't think you can. Don't get me wrong you don't have to go to every country proving yourself to everyone but don't expect to be treated like a well-respected artist when your actions have proven that you're just lashing out at the backlash that was created by past indiscretions. *By the way: When Jay-Z stabbed someone and sold drugs he wasn't a top selling multi-millionaire. He was getting there but he wasn't quite there yet. His name wasn't as earth shattering as it is now. Just so you know! So the difference between you and Jay-Z is the time frame of your careers and what you did. I think you should really take a step back and look at the situation. Just change your attitude people are going to judge you regardless. Stop reacting to hatred and disrespect. Take your cues from the OG's of the game. Guys like Joe (and Tank which I know you're close to him). He's a timeless R&B artist. But you don't see him getting into Twitter wars with people or popping off about something people have said. You need to find a mentor, someone you look up to and can get advice from. You need a male role model to show you how its done.
Now moving on to Wendy,
Wendy sometimes you just open your mouth and create drama where it was not needed. You always find a way to inject yourself into something that has nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU!!!!! There was nothing wrong with what Chris Brown said. What he was saying was that Guys like Jay-Z can get away with murder and it never will be heard of again. But I feel like no matter what he says you will always repeat the words "You're a Woman Beater". Wendy you have no filter and its strange to me that you are always at the center of somebody ELSE'S CRAP! Yet you constantly are reassuring the public with your self righteous egotistical brand of justice by talking reckless about people you have never met or have met maybe once. Seriously I think you should say how you feel but you were cruel and mean. Saying he looks like a junkie and attacking him like that is wrong. I don't care who you are what kind of money you have, its not cool PERIOD!
Don't take this the wrong way, I like Wendy. I just think that sometimes that she goes too far! That's why there are certain celebrities who won't give her two looks! Don't believe me GOOGLE Wendy's Feuds and you'll see a laundry list of crimes! Trust*

Here's his quote via NecoleBitchie.com:
"Anybody with a voice – Tupac, Michael Jackson, the Notorious B.I.G. – gets formatted…except maybe for Jay Z, who is accepted by White America because he shakes hands and kisses babies. No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that [Jay Z] stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass."Well Wendy decided she didn't like the dig and she went in on Chris Brown. Here's what she said:

Chris is blaming his rocky relationship with the media on racism. He says that Jay Z is one of the few black artists who seems to get treated fairly by the media. He also went on to say, “[Jay Z] is accepted by White America because he shakes hands and kisses babies. No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that he stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass.” Okay, I remember when he stabbed Un. He was mildly famous at that particular time. A lot of you all didn't know who he was at that time but he was big here in New York and he stabbed this guy named Un. It did get swept under the rug.You can listen and watch in this video. The Chris Brown rant starts at the 4 minute mark
Also the drug dealing and stuff…to my best knowledge that was before we even knew him as a Jay or a Z, Chris. You are less than smart for trying to blame Jay Z. You need to blame yourself young man. You’re a woman beater, you’re disrespectful, you threw a chair out of the window of “Good Morning America”…what ever happened to that cute young man that used to dancefor the Doublemint gum? What ever happened to him? Now I get it, all boys grow up. A boy grows into a man, but you look like a junkie. That’s what I’m gonna say. You’ve got those nasty tattoos, you’re way too skinny. You don’t seem to have respect for much at all. You beat the stew out of Rihanna and you’re with that Koochie Crayon right now. I gotta tell you something,Rihanna is good but the Rihanna she’s become is a little too edgy if you’re looking to change around your image and you want to be treated the way Jay Z [is treated].
Why don’t you go out with a nice girl named Mallory or something? It helps Jay Z’s image that Jay Z is very cognizant of his image, but it also helps a lot that he’s with a nice girl named Sasha Fierce. And please don’t Twitter war me because I don’t bark back. So please save your Twitter war rant, young man.”
